Door + window installer.

  • · Interior + exterior trim, casing, and finish work.
  • · Cleanup, haul-off, walkthrough with the homeowner.
  • · Report back with photos + notes so the office can close the job.

What we're looking for

Requirements.

You're running as an independent subcontractor, so on top of the on-the-jobsite skills, there are business-side requirements we can't waive. All of the below are verified before your first install.

Construction / install experience
Real jobsite experience with doors, windows, or finish carpentry. Not looking for someone learning on our customers.
ITIN or SSN for background check
Required before your first install. You're representing Galve inside a homeowner's house — we verify.
General liability insurance
Active policy in your name (or your business's name). We'll need a Certificate of Insurance on file before work starts.
Commercial auto insurance
You're driving to and from jobsites with materials in your vehicle — personal auto usually won't cover this. Commercial coverage required.
Workers' comp (if applicable)
If you have employees or crew of your own, you need active workers' comp. Solo operators — talk to us at interview.
Truck, trailer, or capable transport
You're hauling exterior doors, patio doors, and window units to jobsites. Whatever you drive has to actually fit and secure the material.
Your own tools
Miter saw, drill/driver, impact, oscillating tool, laser level, caulk gun, pry bars, ladders — the standard install kit. We don't supply tools.
Physically capable
Comfortable lifting 100 lbs, working on ladders, bending, kneeling, and being outside in Saint Louis weather year-round.
Attention to detail
A door that closes 99% right is a callback. We work with subs who won't leave the site until it's 100%.
What we offer

What we bring to the partnership.

Steady flow of installs
We handle the marketing, lead qualification, quoting, and scheduling. Installs booked 2–3 weeks out — you focus on doing the work.
Paid per install, on completion
Clear per-job rate agreed up front. No chasing paperwork or waiting a month to see your money.
Product sourced + ready
We handle the product order, spec, and supplier relationship. Depending on the job, doors and materials are either delivered to the site or picked up by the installer from our supplier — you're not the one paying for them or hunting parts.
The customer's already sold
We handle the marketing, the sales call, the deposit, and the scheduling. You show up to a homeowner who's expecting you, knows the price, and is ready for you to work — not one you have to close.
More work as you prove it out
Subs who do clean work and show up on schedule get first pick of the calendar. We grow with the crews that grow with us.
Real customer relationship
You're the face of the install. Homeowners refer their neighbors — some of that referral flow lands back on your calendar.
